Our Mission: To meet the needs of our members, staff and community by improving our cooperative enterprise, encouraging cooperation and promoting our co-op and other co-operative enterprises. AGM: Feb 11,2016

As a previous Board member, he has experience as Past Chair on the Member Relations Committee and Board President. He has also been a member of the Credit Union for the 20 years. His working career was s a Forest Ranger employed by the Province of NB. Bob is a strong supporter of locally owned businesses and being a co-op member allows him a voice in the success of the Co-Operative. He feels his past experiences on the Board, his insight into the issues at hand and a willingness to do what it takes to make both the store and Board successful are all strengths he can contribute as a Director.
Paul is a retired agrologist who served the farmers of NB throughout his career. He has experience in business advisory and organizational development. Paul and his family were members of the Moncton Co-op for 20 years prior to moving to Fredericton. He has served on the Board of the Fredericton Exhibition and the Canadian Society of Extension. Paul is presently the Chair of the Member Relations Committee
TREASURER: Maurice Boucher:  Maurice r became part of Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op in April 1975 experiencing many expansions and growth. He has been serving on the Board since March 2007 and participated on the Environment Committee, Enterprise Committee and for the last 2 years Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. He previously held numerous management positions with the Provincial Government and at retirement was Director of Employment Standards managing staff in 5 regional offices. Maurice also served 14 years as an Air Reservist retiring in 2004 as a Captain. and Reserve Flt. OC at 403 Squadron CFB Gagetown. Following retirement he became part of the Security Unit at the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly involved in Business Continuity Planning. As a member-owner at Fredericton Direct Charge Co-Op shopping always involves meeting and talking with friends and acquaintances while providing the assurance of best value, openness, honesty and friendliness. Maurice is presently a member of the Finance Committee
BoardMemberTedDixon CORPORATE SECRETARY: Ted Dixon
Ted describes himself as a “go-getter”. One of the reasons he is a member is that he likes the idea of the money staying in our community. Having been self-employed, he has experience in decision making, and following through on plans to ensure they get done. He would like to be able to contribute in a positive way, and feels his problem-solving skills, ability to listen to people’s needs and effective manner of seeing projects to completion would be valuable assets as a Director and a benefit to the Co-Op and the members.
Deborah Daigle
Deborah Daigle has been a member of the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op for many years. Deborah has served on the Board for the last two years and is a member of the Environment Committee. Deborah is presently the Chair of the Environment Committee and a member of the Member Relations Committee.
BoardMemberCarolynKervinCarolyn Kervin
Carolyn has extensive management experience, strong financial and budgeting skills as well as contract and vendor management experience. She is a member of KIRA (Knowledge Industry Recognition and Achievement Awards Committee) for 6 years and had served as co-chair for 2 years. She is a strong advocate for the co-op and has brought that interest to the Board to ensure the continued growth of membership and to offer time and experience to help maintain the standards of excellence in services and products offered at FDCC. Carolyn is presently a member of the Finance Committee.

Al Anderson Al has served as FDCC President, Vice President, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee in his previous terms on the Board of Directors. He has also served and organized softball, football and also pitch leagues in Fredericton for a number of years and sat on the Board of Co-Op Atlantic a number of years ago. As he is retired, he has the time to commit to be involved with FDCC and would like the the opportunity of being on the front line to ensure FDCC continues to grow and prosper.

Marilyn Scott  Marilyn has 38 years in various retail positions with the last 20 as a buyer in FDCC’s Home and Leisure Dept. Marilyn has been the Chair of the Property Management Committee and has also sat on the Finance Committee. She has also been a member at York Credit Union for the 20 years. Marilyn believes in the principles and values of a co-op and has a strong interest in working on the Board to ensure the continuing success of Fredericton Co-Op     

Cindy Riley Cindy has served on the Board for numerous terms from 2001-2014 and has held executive positions of Vice President, Secretary and (most recently) President. She is former NBDA President and Canada Games Diving Team Manager. Co-ops support community, children’s programs and create local jobs; all things that Cindy believes in, and she feels that, together, we can choose to have an impact on our community and the way we do business. She would like to be a Director again as it is a way of giving back to the community and FDCC.

BoardMemberBronwenMosherBronwen Mosher Bronwen has been working with the NB Film Co-Op since 2008. She was a member of the Van City Credit Union in Vancouver from 2004-2007. Bronwen feels her involvement with traditional and social media would be beneficial with existing and upcoming marketing and communications programs at FDCC. As a previous business owner, she also has financial experience that would be of benefit in the role of a Director.. She is a team-player and has a lot of energy, enthusiasm and passion for the Co-op
BoardMemberStephenColwellStephen Colwell *Retired from Board June 1, 2016) Previously a financial retail controller for Sears Canada, Stephen has a long term background with finances. As a previous Board member at FDCC, he sat on the Finance Committee. He has worked with other non-profit groups and is currently Treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club. He has had a life-time of interaction with Co-ops, his father being a charter member of the Sussex Co-op, instilling in him the Co-Op values at an early age. Where he is on long term disability, and a faithful co-op member and shopper, Stephen feels he has a lot to offer as a Director.

Carl Duivenvoorden

Carl Duivenvoorden Carl has been filling a vacated position as a Director for the past 6 months. He is a strong believer in local ownership, local employment, local products and ensuring profits stay in our community. Having grown up with co-operatives in his childhood, having a good knowledge of what board service entails from participation in many other Boards, having knowledge in areas of marketing, environment and sustainability, Carl feels these skills, experiences and interests would be helpful to both FDCC and the Board.
