VICE PRESIDENT: Paul Jensen

Ted describes himself as a “go-getter”. One of the reasons he is a member is that he likes the idea of the money staying in our community. Having been self-employed, he has experience in decision making, and following through on plans to ensure they get done. He would like to be able to contribute in a positive way, and feels his problem-solving skills, ability to listen to people’s needs and effective manner of seeing projects to completion would be valuable assets as a Director and a benefit to the Co-Op and the members.
Deborah Daigle has been a member of the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op for many years. Deborah has served on the Board for the last two years and is a member of the Environment Committee. Deborah is presently the Chair of the Environment Committee and a member of the Member Relations Committee.
Carolyn has extensive management experience, strong financial and budgeting skills as well as contract and vendor management experience. She is a member of KIRA (Knowledge Industry Recognition and Achievement Awards Committee) for 6 years and had served as co-chair for 2 years. She is a strong advocate for the co-op and has brought that interest to the Board to ensure the continued growth of membership and to offer time and experience to help maintain the standards of excellence in services and products offered at FDCC. Carolyn is presently a member of the Finance Committee.
Al Anderson Al has served as FDCC President, Vice President, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee in his previous terms on the Board of Directors. He has also served and organized softball, football and also pitch leagues in Fredericton for a number of years and sat on the Board of Co-Op Atlantic a number of years ago. As he is retired, he has the time to commit to be involved with FDCC and would like the the opportunity of being on the front line to ensure FDCC continues to grow and prosper.
Cindy Riley Cindy has served on the Board for numerous terms from 2001-2014 and has held executive positions of Vice President, Secretary and (most recently) President. She is former NBDA President and Canada Games Diving Team Manager. Co-ops support community, children’s programs and create local jobs; all things that Cindy believes in, and she feels that, together, we can choose to have an impact on our community and the way we do business. She would like to be a Director again as it is a way of giving back to the community and FDCC.
Carl Duivenvoorden Carl has been filling a vacated position as a Director for the past 6 months. He is a strong believer in local ownership, local employment, local products and ensuring profits stay in our community. Having grown up with co-operatives in his childhood, having a good knowledge of what board service entails from participation in many other Boards, having knowledge in areas of marketing, environment and sustainability, Carl feels these skills, experiences and interests would be helpful to both FDCC and the Board.
