Role: To assist the Board in its role of maintaining and improving the viability of the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op through programs aimed at increasing the interest, understanding, and commitment of members, recruitment of new members, and developing a positive feeling towards FDCC in the Community. Additionally the Committee ensures that appropriate processes are in place to communicate effectively with members and other stakeholders.

Role: To study, recommend and conduct activities, which heighten environmental awareness and environmentally consistent practices in the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op.
FINANCE COMMITTEE

Role: In conjunction with the Manager, prepare a 12-month budget for presentation to the Board and Annual Meeting ; review monthly financial statements, scrutinize all expenditures, initial all expense sheets, meet with and review the Auditor’s report, review the capital requirements, both short and long term and research the means of financing such requirements. Review banking procedures and ensure adherence to proper bank reconciliation procedures, and review the weekly service fees with a view to making appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors.
